Privacy Notice

How we handle website contact requests and property enquiries through Meta Instant Forms.

Draft updated: 25 October 2026

Local review draft. The live Meta form now has optional phone, apartment preference and purchase timeline fields. The six-month manual retention procedure has not yet started. This draft is not the published notice.

1. Who we are

MECC Group operates this website across our offices in Azerbaijan, Hungary and Greece. This notice explains how we handle the personal information you provide when you contact us through the site.

MECC Hungary Kft. is the data controller for the Meta property purchase enquiries described in section 9. Registered address: 1139 Budapest, Fáy utca 1/B, Hungary. Privacy contact: office@mecc.group (section 8).

2. What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message you provide. Our servers also record a short-lived log of the request IP address in order to prevent abuse and rate-limit submissions.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and provide the information you requested.
  • To keep an internal record of business correspondence.
  • To detect and block automated abuse of the contact form.

We do not sell your data. We use enquiry data for the purposes described in this notice, including responding to property enquiries received through Meta Instant Forms. We share it only as described in this notice, where required to operate the service (for example, with our email and hosting providers), or by law.

4. Legal basis

Internal legal-review placeholder: confirm the applicable GDPR Article 6 legal bases for website contact requests, business correspondence records and abuse prevention, and identify any legitimate interests relied on. The proposed basis for requested Meta property purchase enquiries is set out separately in section 9. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself establish consent to newsletters or unrelated promotional marketing.

5. How long we keep it

Website contact enquiries are retained for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised unless a live business relationship requires longer retention. Rate-limit logs are kept for no more than 24 hours. Retention for Meta property enquiries is addressed separately in section 9.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in section 8.

Where applicable, you may also request data portability and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. In Hungary, you may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). NAIH contact and complaint information.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only strictly necessary technical storage is used to render the pages you visit.

9. Property enquiries through Facebook and Instagram

This section covers MOR21 apartment purchase enquiries and future MECC Hungary Kft. property purchase enquiry campaigns using Facebook and Instagram Instant Forms with the same processing arrangements. MECC Hungary Kft. receives the information you submit to respond to your requested property purchase enquiry, discuss relevant apartments and arrange follow-up discussions or viewings where appropriate.

Required information and purpose

The live Meta form requires full name and email address. Phone number, apartment preference and purchase timeline are optional. Name identifies the enquirer and email provides a contact method; optional answers help tailor the response. Without name and email, the form cannot be submitted.

You can leave the optional fields blank and still submit an enquiry. A mandatory form field does not by itself establish a statutory collection requirement.

Submitting a property enquiry does not automatically authorise newsletters, promotional campaigns or marketing about unrelated properties. Any separate marketing activity would require its own applicable legal basis and information.

Proposed legal basis — pending legal review

Proposed legal basis, pending legal review: GDPR Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, for handling your requested property purchase enquiry. This proposal has not been legally approved and does not assign the same basis to every processing activity.

Storage and access

Enquiry records are currently held in Meta only. Within MECC Hungary Kft., only the designated enquiry handler accesses them. Lead lists are not downloaded. There is no active SharePoint, Excel or CRM transfer in this workflow.

Retention and implementation status

The intended retention limit for MECC-controlled Meta property enquiry records is six months from submission. The designated enquiry handler intends to review and delete records manually. This process has not yet started; six-month deletion is not presented as an operating control. Website contact-form retention in section 5 is separate.

Before the retention statement can be finalized, the manual deletion procedure, treatment of existing leads and actual deletion options in Meta must be checked. No automatic deletion, deletion logs or backup-expiry controls are claimed to exist.

Meta's own retention arrangements require separate assessment. Removing a lead from the business interface does not by itself establish deletion from all Meta systems. A period during which leads can be accessed or downloaded is not proof of complete provider-side deletion.

Providers and international transfers

Meta provides the advertising and Instant Form infrastructure and processes personal data under its own applicable terms and privacy policies. This notice explains MECC Hungary Kft.'s processing of the information it receives; Meta's privacy information describes Meta's own processing and does not replace this notice.

Meta Privacy Policy · Meta Lead Ad Terms.

Internal review item: verify Meta's relevant legal entity, processing role, applicable Lead Ad Terms and recipient arrangements for the live campaign. Microsoft is not a lead-storage provider in the current workflow.

Internal review item — international transfers: verify Meta's applicable processing locations, remote access, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the relevant safeguards and access to copies. Keeping leads in Meta does not establish storage exclusively in Hungary or the EEA. The provider arrangements have not been verified for this campaign.

Human review and your rights

MECC Hungary Kft.'s designated enquiry handler personally reviews and responds to enquiries. MECC Hungary Kft. does not use automated buyer eligibility decisions, automated rejection or AI-based buyer ranking in this workflow. This statement does not describe Meta's separate advertising systems.

The applicable rights in section 6, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable, also apply to MECC Hungary Kft.'s processing of these enquiries. Contact office@mecc.group as set out in section 8. You may complain to NAIH as described in section 6. Consent withdrawal applies where processing is based on consent; the proposed basis for the requested enquiry itself is Article 6(1)(b), pending legal review.
